DIY: Mixed Metal Friendship Bracelets

Last year during the Chan Luu wrap bracelet craze, we made our own (much cheaper) versions and dubbed them "friendship bracelets."  Shortly after our first DIY bracelet project, we stumbled upon this tutorial.  It only took us a year to finally get our acts together and make these new and improved friendship bracelets.

What you'll need: gold and silver chain (10mm links), rhinestone chain (6.3mm stones), suede leather cording, lobster clasp and jump rings (we used 12mm clasps), and some needle-nose pliers

The steps from the tutorial were pretty easy to follow.  One note: make sure the leather cord is at least 3 times as long as your chains, otherwise you'll run out!  We ordered plenty of extra chains and rhinestones and we can't wait to try this in a different color, with a single chain, or as a necklace...so many possibilities!
